TAC Geomatics are a consultancy who provide access to a range of Offshore Client Representative and professional services.
The team is headed by David Kelly, a Chartered Hydrographic Surveyor (MRICS), with over 30 years’ experience from Survey, Renewable, Construction, IMR, Oil and Gas, and bespoke projects.
This has included 20 years in senior management and supervisory roles of Offshore Manager and Client Representative.
Expertise, Competence & Experience
TAC Geomatics Ltd provide professional expertise and consultancy services in Marine and Survey (Geomatics) operations based on wide ranging involvement in extensive projects; Geophysical / Geotechnical surveys, extensive OWF / Renewable developments, extended IMR and annual / multiyear survey campaigns (Oil and Gas).
Additionally, bespoke operations have included deep water searches (Malaysian Airline MH370, and ARA San Juan, Argentinian submarine), as well as UNCLOS territorial claims, Submarine investigation (U-864), decommissioning projects, and multiple pipeline inspection campaigns in the Mediterranean (TAP, TMPC) and Black Sea (BSPC).
TAC Geomatics Ltd aim to cultivate and promote key working relationships, perform safe and integrated operations, whilst complying with regulatory and project requirements. Actively collaborating with all stakeholders, to ensure QHSE standards are maintained, encouraging continuous improvement and engagement throughout operations.
From pre-mobilisation planning, document writing, review and assessment, through to offshore mobilisation / calibrations, and all phases of project execution - including detailed assessment, QC and approval of survey data - through to project completion and feedback, the experience and competencies are available within TAC Geomatics Ltd, for global operations.
Academic, business and professional qualifications (MRICS) have been consolidated with real work experiences, supplemented by delegate participation in multiple conferences and professional training courses (Kongsberg and Sonardyne). Together with annual CPD and further training (IOSH and GWO courses), they combine to ensure TAC Geomatics Ltd offer the preferred Client Representative for the latest projects.
